Brilliant!

I'm glad you decided to commence the restoration and I know you'll be pleased with the results.

Glen recently completed the restoration of my Healey Westland and it draws much admiration. Everyone who sees it comments on the lovely lines and how they don't design cars like that anymore!

After 500 miles of running the car in over a short summer I try and take advantage of every sunny weekend day to get it out and run it to make sure it continues to work!

It's fantastic to drive, in fact I can't believe the car is 60 years old as it handles like a much more modern design.

Good luck with the restoration. You will enjoy recording it and making all those decisions regarding retaining what's original (and can be cost effectively re-used) versus restoration to make it perfect and potentially losing some patina. Choosing colours can be difficult unless 100% originality is your goal.

Very happy to chat about my car's restoration - I'll send some pictures separately.
